Gdubz + Outsider Win Leon Switch Remix Competition | Gdubz Drops new Mixtape

Gdubz Rockin' a Wetcoast Threads Hat Bumpin the Bass Music @ Red Room in Vancouver
Victorias Outsider Co-producer of Winning Replica Remix in the Contest

Gdubz has been a fixture in the Vancouver scene for well over 4 years now. Coming from humble beginnings he has dedicated his heart and soul to his music and especially his productions. You may remember him as a guest on the Wetcoast Overcast or from one of the two tracks he released on Wet Dreams Vol. 1.. In addition to the Bass Scene you may see him in his other occupation as a Smoke Accessory specialist at Ignite Smoke Shop hookin people up with the Headiest Glass in the city.

Anyways I like to think I share a special bond with him because my name is Gareth and his is Gary and my DJ name used to be GDCrawford and he is Gdubz. Lately his hard work has been paying off and I am happy to say that our homeslice Gdubz just recently won the Leon Switch Remix Contest with a 2 way collab with Outsider ! To have respect from ones peers is a good feelin' and this guy deserves every bit of success he has been attaining lately. Although I don't know Outsider too formally, he is a Victoria Producer, 1/2 of Dead Air, and a Veteran Selekta in the Bass Music Scene with releases from the likes of Sleeveless, Really Good, Wolf Sheep, and Whitebird Records.

This remix of Leon Switch's "Replica" is a dark, dirty rendition synths. With a little bit more filth and percussion to add to the atmosphere. This remix is somewhat Reminiscient of Stylust Beats recently released Bandana EP this track has everything you want to hear as it stays grimy but doesn't rub it in. It stays classy and deep as the technical sound design sends shivers down your spine. Check it out right below :)

Along that same tip, Gdubz just dropped his latest mixtape "Digital Motionz" which is full of his trademark hybrid dark bass that he has come to refine over the past couple of years. Buckle up and listen to some cutting edge productions as Gdubz takes you on a journey through bass, WARNING: not for the faint of heart.

Make sure you give Gdubz a follow on all the social networks:
