LWilkins Brings us Dark N Dank with his Hybrid tune "Ghetto Beats"

Last year, LWilkins unleashed his trap-tastic "I'm Ready" on Wet Dreams Vol. 1 . The tune was sick, and even though it was trap and turnt up in style, it had crisp sound design and a couple unique personal touches that he put on the genre to make it his own.

Although it was a sick track, I'm Ready is clearly a predecessor to the further evolved sound of LWilkins. This guy is secretly building up an impressive collection of productions that he just keeps to himself, and hopefully will unleash on us soon.

Ghetto Beats starts of with a dark vibe to it. Starting with some creepy synths, in come some sirens and then into a deeper build sprinkled with creepy creepy synths (did I mention creepy?). Then the build up is very intricate as it really builds ya up to a wobbled out drop with warehousy metallic synths that are SO FILTHY. So many different layers come together to make excellent soundscapes that let your imagination take flight. The grime ensues with a slightly variated second drop.

What really impresses me with this tune is his obvious attention to detail on his sound design as well as his ability to keep the vibes at a certain level. He never goes too hard or too minimal, he builds up the energy of the track at the right time and he does so organically. As a song thats almost 6 minutes it only has two drops, because he took his time to let the tune unfold the way it should.
