Day 7/8 : Christmas for the Drum and Bass Fans.

Two New Vancouver Bass Music releases from WetCoast Beats : Beardfight - Staircase Vertigo and PRFRL - So Lethal

Today's post is a double-whammy; Two tracks for the price of one which is ALWAYS FREE NINETY NINE on Wet Dreams Albums. The first comes from the masterful BeardFight. "Staircase Vertigo" rolls out ominously, setting the tone for a dark but magnificent track. Emulating notes of Burial, "Vertigo" does the minimalist sound well. The electric kick of the drums pulses through you as the song plays on, unfolding into the booming excellence that is this track. The background of drawling bass, accompanied by percussive tones that extend the back-end of the song, tie the track off exceptionally well.

Hailing from North Vancouver, B.C., BeardFight has cultivated a following with his remixes and original content. His tracks make their home perfectly both in basements and on festival dancefloors. Check out both his soundcloud, and his facebook.

The next track hails from PRFRL. "So Lethal" is just what its name implies- a deadly track that grips you from the moment it begins. You can feel the experimentalism on this track, intertwining and writhing as it unfolds. Both tracks have an ominous feel to them, with this one feeling the darker of the two. The symbols kicking in the background extend the mood. "So Lethal" is yet another great track from James Morton's new project, and we are lucky to have it featured on Wet Coast Beats.

Coupled with his numerous other projects, James Morton shines as PRFRL. Cumulating his extensive musical knowledge, his experimentation brings a fresh sound to the tracks he puts out. Follow both his soundcloud and his facebook.
