Electric Love 2017 Lineup Announced; Liquid Stranger, Kytami, Perkulat0r, Stickybuds & Much More

Drum & Bass, Glitch Hop, House, Disco, Dubstep, Rock and Hip Hop are all properly represented in Electric Loves 2017 Lineup. For a festival in it's third year I am blown away, this lineup rivals the likes of Shambhala and Basscoast when it comes to my taste in Bass Music. In many ways I prefer smaller festivals like Electric Love. It gives me more time to build relationships and go with the flow, rather than having that constant feeling that I should have cloned at least 4 versions of myself so I wouldnt miss a set.

With that said, Electric Love will still have me wishing I brought at least one or two clones with me because the firepower on that marquee is nuts, just see for yourself......

You probably didn't make it this far but if you did, I will continue my rant about how smaller, up and coming festivals are more preferable to attend than the corporate douchery fest's like Pemby or Hippy Pilgrimage sites such as Shambhala.

Smaller festies are less packed, the community is more welcoming, and people tend to be very knowledgeable about the music that is being played. As a basshead, this is so important to me. You might be the hottest girl ever but if you call dubstep techno or techno dubstep then It's just not going to work hun. However, if you can hold down a conversation about the evolution of breaks into drum and bass and then trace its influence on dubstep in the last decade then I may want to dance with you. Now , if Bassnectar has drastically changed the course of and your perspective on life and/or is sacred to you, then you might be my soulmate that I can have basshead babies with.

I digress.

This lineup is really too much to get into so I will be doing little spotlights throughout the next few weeks that will cover what I think are the Bass Music artists that you can not miss. For transparencys sake, I must admit that I work for Electric Love, I will be doing PR and Social for this fest, but this definitely is not why I am writing this. This is off the clock for me, and I just want to spread the word about some phenomenal Bass Music producers that may not be on your radar yet such as Kytami, Perkulat0r, and Levrige. If you haven't heard them yet I would urge you to do so, but if it's too daunting of a task, I will have some articles that will be highlighting some of their best works in the weeks to come. For now just get on social media and share amongst your friends!
