Vancouver's Zayden Path & Konowa Remix Sammy Porter's "True Colors" [Bass Hous

Zayden Pat sound is refined and bassy, just like his appearance in this photo with Vancouver's harbour centre in the backdrop

I love my house with wobbles... who doesn't!?

Zayden Path and Konowa take the radio friendly pop-house tune "True Colors" by Sammy Porter and add a bit of bassline and wobbles to make a grittier yet still-smooth rendition of a tune that (IMO) needed a bit more, umm, wobbly bass. Many of you know the original tune by Sammy Porter with Grace Fleary, and have probably heard many remixes, but this is one of my faves so far. The original works as a template that one could go many directions with, and these guys made a tune that you can roll with in pretty much any situation. Go ahead, give the tune a whirl......

Although I don't know much about Konowa, I have had my eye on Zayden Path for a while. He's a hard workin' up and comer with plenty of successful years coming for him. I guess I could say that I've started to see his true colors, and they are very nice. This guy is only 19 and he's already playing sold out shows opening for some of the worlds finest DJ's at events host by Vancouver's biggest EDM Promoter Blueprint events at the ole stomping grounds Celebrities Nightclub. If you aren't from Vancouver, Blueprint Events are the ones who host the cities biggest Electronic Music Concerts such as Contact Festival, Seasons Festival, and #FVDED in the Park. This guy has a bright future, Left is him playing at Celebs, It's quite the experience being up there. He's opened for the likes of Dannic, MAKJ, Will Sparks, DJ Chuckie, Vicetone, Sander van Doorn, DJ Bl3nd, & Kryder.... you get the point.

Then came the Basshouse wave that Vancouver and the rest Westcoast of Canada are still vibing to. This track a perfect combination between gritty and melodic, and when you add some nice female vocals on top you've got yourself a chicken dinner. Or a Bass House banger. Another notable , more deep housy vibe is the Ill Phil remix of "True Colors" if you wanna peep that one as well!
